Alois is an electrical engineer, he specialises in both industrial and user centered design. He is a technical specialist in FPGA and wireless systems, sensor and low power milliWatt to nanoWatt design. In addition he is a competent communicator. He gives his time teaching the design process which includes his work in the international Development Innovation Network (IDIN). He holds a degree in Electrical engineering from the University of Nairobi (Kenya).
Adams is a telecommunication and information engineer specialized in software integrations. Before joining KAIOTE he worked as a software engineer for Directcore Technologies an end-to-end Integrated IT solutions provider specializing in IT & telecoms products, solutions and services cutting across various market verticals in Africa, his role involved USSD, SMS, payments (mobile money and card) and network integrations. At KAIOTE his current role involves design of IoT management platforms and subsequent integration to LPWANs (Low Power Wide Area Networks), to provide analyzed data for day to day business processes. Adams holds a BSc degree in Telecommunication and Information Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya).
Martin is a mechatronics engineer with diverse experience in the manufacturing, aviation and petroleum industry in Kenya. He is a lead at KAIOTE with a leaning on product development and management. He also led the design of smart solutions to enhance energy access in rural Kenya with Bridge Electric Limited a partner company to EED Advisory Ltd. This involved the technical design of the product offering and development of support systems. He holds a BSc. Mechatronic Engineering specializing in control engineering and robotics from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya), he is also a registered Environmental Impact Assessor with the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA). He has also had training in Energy Auditing and Management offered by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) with facilitation by Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM).
