Alois Mbutura is an Internet of Things (IoT) specialist and leads the hardware team at Kaiote. His role involves helping clients integrate solutions to the Kaiote IoT management platform. Before joining Kaiote, he worked at Bitsoko services, a digital currency firm specialising in cross border digital payments using cryptocurrency. His role covered the design of automated hardware solutions to fulfill smart contracts. Alois holds a BSc. in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
Adams Okode is a systems architecture specialist and leads the software team at Kaiote. His role involves leading the evolutionary design and management of the Kaiote IoT management platform and its integration to physical networks to provide analysed data for day to day business processes. Before joining Kaiote, he worked at Directcore Technologies, an end-to-end Integrated IT solutions provider specializing in IT and telecommunication products, solutions and services cutting across various market verticals in Africa. His role covered SMS, payments (mobile money and card) and network integrations. He designed and implemented data management and collection tools. Adams holds a BSc degree in Telecommunication and Information Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya).
Martin is an expert in commercializing smart solutions. He currently leads product strategy and operations deployment in Kaiote. This role has seen him lead design and deployment of current product offerings. He led the design and operation of an AECF-REACT funded, IoT PAYG system to enhance energy access to under-grid communities in rural Kenya with Bridge Electric Limited a partner company to Kaiote. He holds a BSc. Mechatronic Engineering specializing in control engineering and robotics from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya), he is also a registered Environmental Impact Assessor with the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA), registered graduate engineer with the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and is a trained Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
